Luckily, Nik has an amazing book called The Tassajara Bread Book that was first published in 1970 by the priests at the San Francisco Zen Center. This book was published in 1970 and almost all the recipes are whole grain! The 'Tassajara Bread Book', written by the cook in Zen buddhist monastery in the USA sort of went with the times. Because I did this on Sunday, I made my own bread bowls (three parts white; one part wheat flour) by using the Tassajara Bread Book recipe I normally use.
